You have heard it said that, If our country makes abortion illegal thousands of women will be killed in brutal back-alley abortions.

 

First, even if thousands of women died from illegal abortions that doesn't mean that abortion should be legal. This argument only works if abortion doesn't kill a human being or else we should make armed robbery and murder legal because robbers and murders are often killed while committing their crimes or trying to escape. The possibility that women may die from doing something that is illegal doesn't mean that it should be made legal.

 

Second, statistics on women dying from illegal abortions disseminated by pro-abortion activists are often outright lies. According to the Centers for Disease Control, in 1972, the year before abortion was made legal throughout the country, 39 women died from illegal abortions while 24 women died from legal abortions.

 

Popular Misconception on abortion! Yes, the babies murdered in the country through abortion, 1% of those were from rape. We cannot argue the right of abortion over 1%, that would mean 99% of abortions are from other methods.

 

Would you allow me to come into your room while you sleep at night and take $300 out of your wallet and then sneak out with your money and get a surgical procedure done on myelf? No, of course you would not, this is wrong, I should not be able to take your money and decide what I want to use it for. Government should not take our money through taxes you have paid and given to people to have babies taken out of their bodies and killed and used for their body parts.

 

Nevertheless this happens as abortions laws are overturned in our country. In addition to the monetary expense, this is a child that has not been given a choice.

 

PUTTING NUMBERS INTO PERSPECTIVE 50 million abortions is greater than the 2007 estimated population of the following states:

The estimated more than 1,000,000 abortions performed a year in America is higher than the deaths in combat during every war and conflict in all of American history from 1775-2008.

 

Please see below, you cannot possibly care about deaths of soldiers and marines, but stand by as the innocent little babies are killed with your tax dollars.
