Why and Where Morality? Governments True Role!

The Blame Game

Posted by: jjkool77 in Untagged  on

Why is it that no one can take responsibility for their actions anymore?? I found this great quote that states, “George Washington is the only president who didn't blame the previous administration for his troubles.” While this is comical, it is also very sad. Every President loves to accept praise for the good things his administration has been able to accomplish yet when something goes wrong it is the fault of the previous administration. If the economy is going strong it’s because of the current administration. If the economy is faltering it’s because of the previous administration.  It drives me nuts.

If I’m working a sales job and I’m not getting any customers, can I blame it on the previous salesman or the management? No, it’s all on me. I now that these leaders often step into the presidency after a previous administration has enacted many new laws but guess what?? We elected you to be a leader. Step up to the plate and take a swing at it. Don’t blame your strikes on the bat.

America doesn’t often like an independent President. We want someone who is not afraid to take advice. At the same time we want this person to make a decision and stick with it. If you give the go ahead on something you better stand by it. No excuses. Final.
